Supporters groups - West Yorkshire/Manchester - RedPassion.co.uk

I've been exiled in West Yorkshire for a number of years. Unfortunately I don't drive any more due to a head injury so I don't get to many games nowadays - and I'm really starting to miss my footie.

Are there any supporters groups in Yorkshire or even Manchester that I might be able to join? (I'm in Halifax, but Manchester is easy and quick enough to get to on the train.) I'd like to potentially hook up with someone for lifts to travel to matches with from time to time (and of course pay my way).

I looked on the Trust website for a list of the various supporters groups but London Reds seemed to be the only non-North Wales based group listed.

Manchester Reds are fairly active. You can add the page on facebook if you have it.

Don't see much of them nowadays but the Manchester Reds are a good crowd and get to all local away matches . Would be very surprised if they are not at Guiseley en masse. Suggest you pm Stalybridge Sheepshagger who should know more.

We can help offer transport to matches. We also get on the train to some away games. Guisley being the next away, we are heading into Leeds after the game for a few beers after. If you need a lift to the racecourse on Saturday I can help you with that too.
