Decent signing but will mean nothing unless we sign some quality upfront.

Luke Young played for Plymouth in the league, or did you mean whose last club was in the league?

Good signing. Better quality than Wedgebury. This (on paper) is the calibre of signings we should be making if we’re having just an 18 man squad.

He looks chuffed rather than buzzing, he saves the buzzing for his hair.

Good signing on paper this, him maybe holding a bit more, allowing Young to break forward. A bit of quality in the middle

Should be a decent signing for you.

In his first season here though he was quite poor and became the target of the boo boys and towards the end of that season went on loan to Macclesfield.

However, last season he was a revelation and improved immesurably, but how much that was down to how poor we were last season I'm not sure. Would have won the main Player Of The Year for us last season but was just pipped to the main award by James McKeown, although he did win some other awards. We did offer him a contract to stay but in the end we withdrew the offer due to the timescale.

Hard working and puts in a decent shift and I'm sure he'll do well in The National League. He leaves with the best wishes of most Mariners fans. Another reason (with Pearson) to keep an eye on your results next season.

Good luck.
