Default Wrexham's best ever strike partnership

Our need for goals has got me thinking.....What was our best ever strike partnership ?

Quite a few to choose from.

I've been watching since 1980 so just missed the halcyon days so I'm going to go for Watkin & Benno

Great days. What we'd give for those 2 at 1993 form right now !

McNeil and Whittle.

Prolific against all teams of all standards.

But as a partnership it was interchangeable with Shinton.

Ollie Keans & Steve Buxton !

Bennett & Watkin were good - infact anyone who played with Bennett - he was such a showman and entertainer - my all time favourite striker.

Trundle & Morrell

Ashcroft & Whittle.

Can't go back any further than that myself.

Or what might have been had they stayed?

Speight and Wright? Can’t think of anyone else from the past 10 years. I can think of a ‘few’ standalone strikers while we’ve been here, only a few but grossly outnumbered by lemons
