This isnt meant to be a Bitching exercise just a thread to Voice a Concern and see if Others Agree or Disagree.
Again this year we are right up there knocking on the door of Promotion going into the second crucial part of the Season. Again this year we have allowed our Manager to leave us and in my Opinion the Board has taken the Cheap option in Appointing a New one. What does baffle me again this Season is that we do not seem to be using the funds we have Available to sign some proper Quality players. It is alright the Board saying there is money there if GB needs it but if it comes with constraints as to say how long a contract you can offer to these players then that really isnt ‘Funds Availible’ . We seem to lose out on target after target year on year , I am wondering if the ‘Funds Availible’ to the Manager is a bit Smoke and Mirrors. I do not want us to buy beyond our means but I do want us to give it a real go Cause this League Is S##t and with the level of support we have we should be able to compete for players Salford and their Millions excepted

Same old same old in January, always has been since we have been down here last season was a big chance and we signed Simon Ainge. We can’t compete for quality where it matters it’s as simple as that and to top it off we have a manager who is a dinosaur.

I bet there are a lot of other supporters saying similar things about this transfer window around the clubs , can only imagine there's not as much depth of quality available around about , just teams moving players on .

Which is why it is crucial to sign them in the summer............

Anyone that thinks you cannot sign quality in Jan is burying their head.
Its more difficult but getting promotion is not going be easy is it?

I think the club are taking the Mickey out of the fans again given the attendances and the money the club has made through transfer fees and compensation etc.Surely the fans deserve more.We are only 2 or 3 quality players short of getting out of this league and look at the money we could generate once we got back in the league.

We are particularly shit in the January transfer window and to think after Christmas most of us got excited (even me) that we might actually sign a or some players of real proven quality. #excitingtimesfail
