Not true. Bryan Hughes decided at end of last season that he wanted to put all scouting budget into players. This meant Chief Scout role was gone as was player scouting. The lad you mentioned was offered a job to continue to do oppo scouting but after a chat with me thought that he could do more at Solihull, so oppo and player scouting. I doubt the lad would have said that as I know him very well.

No players have been watched since end of last season, but opposition has been watched as much as possible with only one scout.

... yet we have spent our previous budget + 20%

Leaving us in a situation where we need to spend even more.

How?!

I've explained why the people who got us into this mess throwing money to try and solve a problem they created is a bad idea and you've chosen this as some sort of defence? Honestly. At least give me something. You're dealing with proven liars here. Nothing seems to sink in with you. Its painful.
What do you want me to say/do? What isnt sinking in with me?

I could sit and moan all day on Red Passion repeating the same thing over and over?

Its shit. I know its shit. I havent said it isnt shit. They arent going to sack "Pep" or Keates at this juncture so for me the next best is at least trying to do something with the shit players we have. What is your idea?

What gets me is they go on about investing more money, but why oh why did they not take the cheap option when appointing Hughes and employ a proper no nonsense experience manager. Once a proper decent manager is at the helm we will see some changes on field, until then we won’t. That’s what the board will need to do if they want to stay in the position they are in. That’s when fans will begin to believe in them, once they make decisions like that.

Giving extra cash to a manager who’s already shown he’s poor at bringing players to the club strikes me as desperation. We won’t be climbing that table anytime soon.

100% Jay Harris will be one of the players here in January tho.
