Re: So let's say the club is put up for sale
The best they can do is say this is what we have, here’s the books, I’d like to say we have no debts but with the record of the wst telling the truth I don’t actually know.
It can be marketed well to a buyer, it’s just if these idiots will let it go. |

Re: So let's say the club is put up for sale
You’d be purely investing in hope/potential.
If the club got promoted back to the promised land then you’d get prize money, tv money, sponsorships, increased gate receipts and season tickets, academy funding etc etc.. You’d have made a good investment particularly as most promoted clubs shoot straight through League Two and into League One. Wrexham has a good catchment area so is one of those clubs who you could take the risk on. Club hasn’t been leaking vast sums for past few seasons and has benefit of being Welsh (in theory Welsh Gov support and only team in North Wales). Possible new stand being built and international football on horizon. Negatives...You wouldn’t own ground, have a set of highly expectant fans including a staunch hardcore element, competition for promotion is high particularly with only two up, Liverpool and Manchester on your doorstep to take away potential support and prospects, a large rebuild of staff required. Ground rent significant outlay every season and ground maintenance must be high. Sure I’ve missed lots but there’s a view for you. |

Re: So let's say the club is put up for sale
64 million dollar question?? Is there anybody out there, interested in the club.
If there is. For God's sake speak to them... If there isn't, and this shambles is all we've got.. Well we may as well call it a day..
