This is correct. We are not now under a regime where board meetings are held in the Lager Club and you watch presentations through Pete's pint.

Our new owners are highly succesful businessmen and public figures. As supporters of the club I believe we should treat them with respect and refrain from haranguing them personally on social media. Let them do their job, it's been 10 days for God's sake.

Servants are usually paid... It literally means a person is in service to something or someone, while we have amazing club servants who volunteered free of charge, that doesn't discount the brilliant service by paid employees who did extremely well and went beyond their contractual obligations.

Keates playing on with a broken collar bone against Newport or Chester, and gripping Pogba for having a hissy fit over taking a penalty springs to mind, I'm totally against Keates as manager, but revising or diminishing his service to the club as player captain in the fog of anger is just immature.

He was a beast on the pitch and embodied everything we could reasonably expect from a midfield general in non-league, I'm vocally critical of his management but can we put the blades away over his service as captain..
I’m with Sparky with the terminology of Servant but your description of Keates as a player cannot be disputed.

Personally, I think the criticism of him as a manager is a little OTT. It’s not as if we’re 7th bottom in the league and only won 1 in 7.

However, to restore harmony at the club, we need new people in key roles so we can stop looking back and blaming other people be it the Trust, Moss, Hamilton.

R&R think this club has a bright future but I’m not convinced the fans do...yet.

Ask him why he gave s 3 and s half year contract to someone with no managerial experience in the first place..

It's such a shame, we will all have conflicting memories of Keates, for most it's seem his brilliant time as player captain will be permanently overshadowed by his clusterflip attempts at management.

If the guy wants to save any remnants of good faith he needs to go now.

Keates is not blameless. However we must remember when he was reappointed it caused a split in the fan base ( as would the reappointment of Ricketts or Barrow). Everyone involved in that decision should hang their head in shame.
It's become compounded since as Keates should have been sacked by the trust in December but for reasons only known to them they didnt ( I suspect they put the trust first before the club to save on the severance monies)
Keates will not be manager next season it's just a matter of time

I wasn't trying to devalue what he did for us as a player. We invested in him and he gave us a return on that investment week in, week out. He was a fine player for us, but no servant.

When he's invited back to do half time draws etc Keates the player should be applauded, Keates the manager however....

This

I will now NOT subscribe to any streams until Keates is removed from his post. The club has been divided by Spencer and his foolish appointment and reappointment of DK, pep and Davis. #KeatesOut

Nonplussed to discover dropping Jarvis for Horsfield was a tactical decision. Playing a team with a makeshift defence and Keates thinks that's the perfect occasion to pick a defensive mid over a creative one. The mind boggles.

"They go a lot long into their main striker so I thought if they were going to put it on us, and we didn’t pick up any second balls with not having an extra body just in front of the back three, and they were picking up balls in little pockets, we would have a problem."

"Hors has played in there many times and played Football League in there so I thought I would drop him in."

He said all that in his post match interview. Ho obviously thought 3 centre backs were not enough to deal with long balls up to their striker...
