I think this is a Wrexham myth, people always say players become available on the 1st of July. The fact is the players are available as soon as retained lists are announced and can sign a pre contract agreement.

Unless it was Challinor or Gary Johnson (both now seem unlikely) then they wouldn't stay at a club until the end of June just because thats when the contract runs too, It wouldn't benefit us, the current club or the manager.

I am happy to wait and see who our new manager is but 3 weeks to find and recruit one seems a long time to me . If the person is contracted it makes no sense to wait until 1st July but perhaps the delay is down to waiting untilk the National League final was held but I still maintain it will be someone that most of you have not mentioned.
I will be really concerned if we dont have a new manager by the end of this week.

If we don't, then i believe we are after someone who is under contract and maybe compensation is a stumbling block/taking a little longer to solve?

I don't think it's unreasonable for people to expect some movement this week. Even the best manager in the world needs time to put their plans in place.
