Lainton 6 - pretty much nothing to do
RHJ 5 - painful, zero quality going forward
Cleworth 7 - comfortable defending, good going forward 1st half
Tozer 7 - solid
Hayden 8 - MOM excellent though maybe got away with late pen shout
Hosannah 6 - better 1st half but lack of quality re delivery and weight of passing
Maybe better on the right
J Jones 7 - actually pretty good today and very involved
Young 7 - better than of late, good pressing
Davies 7 - great FK, kept trying to get us on front foot but lacked quality at times
Hyde 5 - frustrating 1st half and came off with a knock
Mullin 5 - really frustrated and frustrating, out of sorts, missed easy chance by his standards

Ponticelli 4 - great v Dover, atrocious tonight

Good assessment of how I saw it

Not just for his goal, but Davies was MOTM by county mile. How anyone could give it to a CB is beyond me.

Hopefully boxing day is the last time I see Ponticelli in a Wrexham shirt.

Play hosannah right wing back and green left wing back. Boringly comfortable win. Keeper made 1 save that I can remember. Wasteful and lacking quality around the penalty bix

He’s a fantastic player at this level, as everyone other than you agrees.

ATM he is playing in a team that creates very little from open play because we are playing 5 at the back, even at home.
