I don't care which party our MP belongs to or how little they know about football. I do care whether they are doing their job or not.

The lady is plugging the club and that is doing her job despite her lack of knowledge about the game. I suspect she knows nothing about nuclear physics either. No one knows everything despite the impression that some RP posters give.

There are many on RP with politics do I do not agree with but if they are supporting the club as well as they can then I for one will not criticise any positive active they are undertaking just because I don't like the colour of their eyes.

She's supported wxm athletic for yrs and will be cheering the boys on when they play Dover in the play off final and get promoted to the champions league , even Diane Abbott said she is a credit to the village of Wrexham even though she is a tory

"It's rather disappointing that some people are choosing to focus on that, rather than the fact that Wrexham AFC is getting the recognition it deserves in the House of Commons.

I’m not comfortable with politicians of any persuasion getting involved in our club but if she’s able to deliver the funding for the cop through raising the profile in Westminster and with Boris she can call us whatever she likes.

The levelling up funding appears to be politically charged with Tory constituencies benefiting disproportionately. Should we not just put the dogs abuse to the side for a few months until it’s secured?

Wrexham's 19th and 20th century economy was largely built on steel, coal, and agriculture, with football and the Barracks a handy escape line. After 1984 Wrexham was left with little of its economic inheritance, with only its football to be proud of, and even that had to be rescued by the one thing Wrexham has always had, brave men and women.
Posers like Atherton are a blot on a fine history, and at best should be ignored until they give themselves away, (as she just has!) and then we can get rid of them for good.

You would think having been an MP for the town for 3 years, having an office in spitting distance of the ground and having actually been to the Racecourse itself, you’d think she’d learn the name of the club.

Why should she know about nuclear physics? A much more complex and difficult subject to understand than the name of the local footie team.
