Defo, if Wxm & North Wales wants it enough. Grimsby did it so why can't we. It works out about £20 average per fan, less than a £1 per week since we began.

Didn't Grimsby only manage half the final total which was matched by a benefactor

No good spending it on a striker if the rest of the squad is below par for the league.
I believe any money generated from BTB should be used to bolster the wages of 3 or 4 players who would have a strong influence in the side and drive the team on.

I think so, but it is not beyond our fan base to raise it and if a few businesses see the support it is getting they may want to throw some money at it to get some publicity.

I would love to think so too - one last push required - every little helps!

Every team that wins promotion from this league has a striker that's all I am saying. If you don't have one you don't go up, the stats from this league since we've been down here will back this up. Probably need at least 70 goals as well.

If we have a striker that scores 20 league goals or upwards it will enhance our chances of doing something, if we don't then we won't do anything, unless we get 2 midfielders in that bag 20 goals between them (which is unlikely).

I would have hoped for a few more businesses being involved but so far only seen Wrexham lager and the fat boar along with Wayne at the turf. The press could really have pushed this but don't seem to have run with it (or haven't been utilised well)

I said it would enhance our chances, it's certainly not going to harm them!
The thing is, we could spend the money on players that we need but when you sign a striker who scores goals it captures the imagination of the fans, we always need a hero to look up to!

That's why Louis Moult is still popular with our supporters, because he did what most football supporters like to see!

Looking at the teams that have beaten us here this season, the real difference has been the players who know where the goal is, Benson yesterday for example. They were a well organised side who had someone who has a record for scoring goals, someone else mentioned Stevenage Borough when they won promotion, a well organised side, Crawley Town had Matt Tubbs, Fleetwood Town had Vardy etc.
