Default Steve Cooper

The coach of England under 17s at last nights European final against Spain was Steve Cooper, former Wrexham player and one time head of the academy. I think he still lives locally . Could be a useful contact for the club going forward.

Would be good to create a bit of a network with people such as him. Could help with identifying players

Also, they lost last night and there's been some criticism of the coaching over some months as I understand it.
In a final against Spain on penalties without their star player of that age group, there has also been no criticism of Steve Cooper's coaching and he's highly thought of having been promoted from U16's to U17's. England's coaching is defined by Southgate and is used from the youngest age group up to senior level, Cooper just ensures it's implemented which it is.

Yeah must be rubbish if they didn't win the final, steer clear of him.

Some might argue that this blanket condemnation is applied to too many people and is a factor preventing us from moving forward as an united club.

I remember talking to Steves dad Keith Cooper (ex Referee) in the clubhouse at Weymouth before a pre-season friendly in the late 90s. Seems like yesterday!
