Thank you monsuir Williams.....

Beggers the question which is the more pitiful .....a club that scrape just over 1k to see them almost achieve league status or a club that can attract at least 5k and more , but can't obtain at play-off minimum target.

Having few fans does not mean they have a smaller budget. That’s why Bournemouth are in the Premier League and Sunderland are in League 1.

In total agreement with you on this the play-offs are a farce and unfair way of teams being promoted, it's a long hard season in all the leagues and the teams in the highest position should be promoted not lose out to a team that may have finished 8 points behind them due to a lottery of knockout games, of course we will take it if happens to us but it's a farce we would of gone up with Fleetwood instead a team York miles behind us on points did, why not a play off for relegation.. It's stupid.

If a team finishing 7th gets promoted.....what's the purpose of playing 46 league games.

might as well do away with a league, introduce an American system with a level 5 superbowl to determine promoted teams

If the leagues over in terms of promotion or relegation for most teams ages before the season finishes then whats the point in a league then? Personally, i think the the new system is brilliant, play offs are more exciting, it keeps hopes alive for more teams for much longer (us especially), it also grants more advantages too 2nd and 3rd placed teams who now only need to win one home match! Genius!

Or at least like the system in aussie rules or aussie rugby league where the higher placed teams get a second bite of the cherry if they lose their first play off.

I agree the new system is better, one off games, with advantage to the teams finishing highest. The play offs generally have been a huge success since their inception.

I would just like to see a more concerted effort/campaign to secure a second automatic promotion place to L2. After all there is a far larger pyramid than the FL and NL is the 5th division in that pyramid. Out of all leagues throughout the pyramid, the NL has the biggest disproportion of promotion places compared to relegation places.
