You were lucky. We lived for three months in a brown paper bag in
a septic tank. We used to have to get up at six o'clock in the morning, clean the bag, eat a crust of stale bread, go to work down mill for thirty hours a day week in-week out. When we got home, our Dad would thrash us to sleep with his belt!

Send the club a stamped addressed envelope for postage of your season ticket to you if this is needed.

If anyone on here (who lives more than 15 miles away) can't or doesn't want to collect their season ticket, DM me and I'll pay for your postage as a donation in the club shop ☺

Generous offer Mark but I think you are best saving your money to buy yourself a new pair of Speedo's and a head cap ready for the next Portugal trip

Would those living too far away be happy to pay extra for the postage rather than the club picking up the bill? When purchasing a season ticket you could have an option for delivery or collection.

We have this debate every year it seems.

I can't remember if it was last season or the season before but there was one year I followed all the lines of communication waiting for the word to go and collect...and it never came and the club just sent my ticket through the post. That's no issue for me but if the club wants to save on postage they need to be rather more lively than that. And it can be easily solved with the option of asking for what you want when you buy.
