Re: Racecourse development news
Fair point. 5,000 who attend games fairly regular at the Racecourse for starters anyway! I'm sure any plans that were detrimental to our club's future would attract a great deal more attention and huge amounts of negative publicity for the organisation concerned.

This is where WCBC really have a part to play but I doubt they have any appetite for what lies ahead or the any inclination to put measures in place for the good of the club. Lets face it as AA says they cannot even manage planning for the town centre and they really have no interest whatsoever in the club being an attraction to the town just a hindrance on match days. Its a sad state of affairs and a complete shambles really. |

The events company is a separate concern under the overall WST banner. The break even target of 2 - 3 years was based on the revenues we could generate across the board from advertising, hospitality, hire of rooms and the events. This is the second of those years. Hopefully we are ahead of schedule as any extra over revenue will be ploughed back into the football club. |

In the meantime the south can focus on the present and the future with subsidised stadia, local and national backing, plus exclusive hosting of competitive Wales games. Do we want to look to the future or be satisfied with being handed down the past? It's patronising crap in my humble opinion.

Quite rightly the priority is acheiving these targets and turning this into a profitable company. Kop development is not a priority at this point in time. We need a concerted effort on Euromillions - LOL. Anyone up for buying extra tickets this Friday |
