At the same time, we're never going to stick 5 past anyone.

What we need is the fullbacks and wingers to get on the ball and push on. Mackreth still lacks at yard off the pace, from his injury pre season. And I'm not convinced Kelly is a winger. At the same time he's not a central midfielder in a 442, as displayed by the amount of times, he let players coast past him today.

What we need is Carrington and Wedgebury when we have got the ball, is drive forward and close that gap from them to the front 2.
I may be wrong but I think the way we are set up has a lot to do with Darlington's influence. It seems to replicate the way Wales set up and as you say make us hard to beat.
Carrington will never drive forward - sideways and backward yes!
I would like to see Wright given a chance he seems to want to drive forward when he gets possession and would open the game up.

Anyone bar the hide and seek champion. What's Levi Mackin up to these days? He'd be an upgrade on Carrington.

We need to create chances, and I don't understand why Leo Smith isn't given a chance?

I have criticised Carrington in the past but he wasn't bad last night, just average (as per).

Our issue is there doesn't seem to be a link between striker and midfield, meaning Boden has to drop deep, leaving Massanka up top alone (and offside)... if we had someone in front of Wedgbury and Carra it may work

Carrington drive forward? Fat chance. That's just pure hope and will never happen because he's gutless.

What on earth is wrong with that suggestion?

So, did you enjoy that dull display then?

Don't you think Leo could be a good outlet down the left flank? Our most creative player playing in front of Wedgebury in the middle, providing some balls in behind for our forwards?

You want to see us set up like that at home with a fanny in the middle who does nothing? Wedgbury busted a gut first half but had nobody with him, Carrington never even made a bloody run in front of him, he just hid like a pussy.

Our performances will be dire until we change this quite baffling way of 'playing'.

Tbf we did play some quality balls... but they found an offside Massanka.

Carrington must bring something we are not seeing if Keates persists with him over Leo, Wright, or even Hurst

I suppose because he always passes it sideways or backwards he rarely gives the ball away. There isn't anything else, most of us have eyes.

Who is this creative player? I haven't seen a creative player at Cae Ras since Fowler!

We need to build momentum. Momentum breeds confidence throughout the squad and supporters.

We're solid but far from spectacular. However, I've seen plenty of teams be solid but not spectacular do well in this league.
