Scott was a very good player at that level - but he obviously hasn't been able to 'step up' to Blackpool's. current squad.
He might be fine in the National League, he certainly puts a lot of effort into his game and he's a long way ahead of wimps like Reid and (I've never headed a ball under a challenge)
Massanka.
However is he a natural goal scorer? I'm not sure, but if Darlington thinks he is that is certainly enough for me.
We could do a lot worse, so if it happens he'll get a big welcome from me.
Boden is the natural goal scorer so Quigley could be very good for him in a front two or how about Holroyd as well in a 433 maybe

Loan - yes
But I wouldn’t want us to pay a fee for him, any money should be spent on a goal scorer.

Boden isn't a natural goalscorer - for a start he drops too deep when he should be in and around the box. Holroyd is the more natural link player and his tenacity in the box has brought him goals.

I thought their pairing Saturday was an improvement but they were still too far apart for a front 2. A more natural CF would then leave a place for a number 10 with Holroyd the obvious choice as doubtful DK will change to a 433.
