My apologies it was a response to a post some pages back regarding posters having different opinions. I had pointed out the opinions were often not based on fact. The Cook story being one of them.

Agreed, it'd be a strange one.

Someone just told me we're after him for £85k, but I don't really buy into it.

if you was to find the preseason threads regarding our strikers ... and massanka fitting into that pattern.

you will find most (not all) fans were happy with Massanka as a bench warmer to Boden and Holroyd.

pretty much most clubs do business in january of some kind.. wether it be offloading players.. or bringing them in... this seasons january is no different in that respect to any other transfer window before. importance is also no different as every year we use the transfer window to try make ourselves stronger.

we all know what we need... getting it is something else.. nobody is to blame if it doesnt happen.. unless it is a royal screw up by somebody in particular .
Keates im sure will sign the best player he is able to.

if we cant or dont land those players.. as long as keates has done his upmost to do so... im happy, and so should everybody else and not live in a bubble thinking anything is possible.. when reality is... that anything ISNT always possible

This was discussed a few pages back. I think the consensus was that if this had happened it was historical i.e. the 'I'm not paying the agent' transfer.
