The ref will have to add it to his report because he sent both of them to the stands, although i didn't see Pennock go anywhere

He didn't run anywhere, he answered a question!!
Why spoil the facts when you can make it up yourself??

Dean went to intercept the ball and Pennock pushed him, it was Pennocks fault end of.

Keates needs to go on a anger management course. Whilst he is forever in the ear of the fourth official, I believe this impedes on his ability to focus on the tactical and management side of his job.

I was very close to the events leading up to the sending off yesterday, and I'm sorry to say that despite quotes to the contrary, DK did deliberately knock the ball away in an attempt to hold up a throw in and it was that which infuriated the Barrow bench.

Overall it was a minor issue blown out of all proportion by a Barrow backroom staff who had been very animated throughout the match and had themselves attempted something similar in the first half. In addition, their manager definitely attempted to throw a punch at Dean during this incident. I'll leave it for others to decide which is the worse offence.

That said, Dean was initially in the wrong, and as the Manager, should know better than to get involved in such silly behaviour, especially given other recent events.

I'm sure he will pay for this with a fine and a further touchline ban, but he needs to get to grips with the responsibilities of the position he holds as it will only get more tense as this season progresses.

You obviously saw him walking out of the tunnel with the ref before the start of the 2nd half. It was all good natured and thumbs up.

Have you ever noticed where DK and Andy Davies stand? DK on the extreme left of the technical area i.e. furthest away from the opposition and the 4th official, so he can hardly be accused of being in the 4th official's ear! He leaves that to Andy Davies.

The ref was a fussy idiot all game, I’m not bothered about this at all.
Booked Roberts for time wasting (he was saying their player was not standing 10 yards) but not their goalkeeper for time wasting.

That was my impression of events, too.

DK was stupid. If he sets a poor example others will follow.

The ref was an idiot. Boden had a made a run into the channel for Roberts but he couldn't play the ball that way because Holt was stood in the way and not 10 yards away. Roberts told the ref and got booked. They were time wasting from the 1st minute but never even a word just a wave of his arm. An absolute clown.
