Default Chris Holroyd Goals Per Minute

Just checking out the top goal scorers in the league on the BBC site. Out of the top 11 Holroyd has 158 mins per goal better than any of these

Danny Rowe (Fylde) 164 Mins
Macauley Bonne (Leyton Orient) 186 Mins
Bruno Andrade (Boreham Wood)190 Mins
Louis Dennis (Bromley) 214 Mins
Scott Wilson (Macc) 162 Mins
Andy Cook (Tramps) 177 Mins
James Norwood (Tramps) 202 Mins
Danny Kedwell (Ebbsfleet) 223 Mins
Joe Pigott (Maid) 228 Mins

There are lots of stats to counter and consider, but if Holroyd would have played the same as Danny Rowe he would be on nearly 17 goals scores. The question is do we have the best 'goals per game' striker in this league?

If you count Quigley who's currently averaging 2 per game then yes

For us he's on 1 goal per 38 minutes!

It needs pointing out because some people think he can spearhead a promotion challenge. He won’t. As long as we have the likes of Boden and Mcckreth we are not going anywhere.

All this excitement about Tranmere, netting and Jester’s demise is disguising the main issue. We are still not good enough.

To win the league? We are good enough to be in the playoffs and with the addition of a striker that most agree is a good prospect we are doing ok in my book. A decent midfield addition and who knows ?

You're obsession with Boden is beyond weird. Try looking at the teams goals per game when Boden has played compared with when he was out of the side.

Boden has improved a lot in the last month or so. He s creating a lot of chances for other players as well. He hasn't scored enough goals but football is a team game afterall.
