Copycat.

But yes, this side is capable of winning the league. Unless we get a catastrophic amount on injuries we should finish top 3.

Possibly still lacking in midfiled and upfront. Is it one the best squads in the league? Almost certainly.

To be fair, Wedge and Deverdics are 2 of the best midfielders in the league and Rutherford has to be in the very top few for assists.

Not forgetting that Manny and Shaun are at least 1.5 men so we play with 12 on the pitch.

I’d worry if Wedgbury or Pearson were out as they are leaders but bar that we are covered everywhere. I’d still like another natural striker though. There’s only Quigley who you’d say is a proper out and out striker.

Raven comes across as a leader who could cover Pearson and then Wright/Carrington could cover Wedgbury.

A great spine to the team

Dunn - whose recent performances have been excellent
Manny/SP - the leaders
Wedgbury - the grafter
Quigley - striker with the killer instinct

So who are the potential losers in all this. Carrington and Kelly maybe, Mackreth for sure and I can see Leo Smith going out on loan. We now have players on the bench who will come on and make a difference. Very impressed with the way Keates has cut it.
