It's a great gesture by our club, hopefully well supported by our great supporters. More importantly it may just send a message to the morons from both sides of the border intent on causing trouble at derby matches, causing many inconveniences for the vast majority of decent football fans, costing the clubs, the authorities and tax payers a load of money. If Liverpool & Everton can have rivalry with respect why can't we.

You speak for a small minority as everyone I have spoken to has no intention of giving Chester a penny. As for their morons we probably won't see them again after this season. Remember when you put your cash into the Chester bucket what really delayed our game at their place this season and remember that their supporters thought we would be relegated this season and they would go up ,now who are the morons ?

I don't want Wrexham to have a bucket collection, if we can't sort it ourselves (which I'm confident we will) then we don't really deserve a club but just because we have players coming in doesn't mean everything is sorted.

Exactly this. Chester seem to be trying their best to sort the situation out themselves. I wish them luck and honestly don't want them to fold (relegated but not fold), but they won't be getting a penny off me. I'm also sulking because vose is a cracking player who I would have liked here off the bench

Anyone who gives money to them is clearly a moron and a danger. The only ones giving money are the self-congratulatory brigade who do it purely for the attention it generates.

I had some sympathy until they signed Vose, expenses won't be cheap if he's temporarily relocating, save your money for a worthwhile cause.

I agree - we are in the minority though - Chester supporters are equally split on those who appreciate the gesture by a fellow fan owned club and those who don't want our money.
