And OMG what a donkey Franks was at the end. Can’t even control a simple ball.

Infuriating because we should have more points on the board but concentration and reluctance to put teams to the sword has cost us. Infuriating because the league is there for the taking but we don't seem able to do so.
Infuriating because it is likely to be our best chance for a few seasons if those teams predicted to come up and down do.
I never thought we'd be fighting relegation. I hoped we would flirt with the play offs.
To be this high yet not take advantage, that's infuriating.

All he needs to do is step to his right, yet he comes OFF the goal line, therefore making it more of a stretch to reach the ball. He doesn’t need to dive at all, stay upright and tip it over.

Jennings with the reactions of a sloth to the loose ball as well.
Bit unfair on Dunn, it was a high looping header onto the top of the bar, but Wedgebury made the save harder being on the post directly under it.

Having just watched the highlights Dave I agree,. Goal could have been avoided but it wasn't. need to move on. I thought Franks's miss was even worse than I thought on Saturday.

Going back to the original post, yes a draw was probably a good result in this game IF we hadn't been so poor in other games.

I had a quick scoot through our games (especially home) and we really should have had another 8 points in the bag.

Sutton at home - wasteful finishing cost us as they scored an injury time equaliser
Halifax at home - took foot off the gas against a team on the ropes and allowed them back into it with a sloppy goal.
Leyton orient at home - Started well, got back in front then screwed up royally.
Barrow at home - poor concentration cost us an injury time equaliser.

If we are to maintain a challenge, this wastefulness and slips in concentration need to stop. Full stop.

Can I see us doing it, probably not unfortunately. But we really should be on 66 points by now...grrr

fair enough, personally i think this season has had so many brilliant moments:

holroyd goal at tranmere
pearson at chester
ruthers at dag
quigleys double away to hartlepool
a lot more than what weve endured in the years before, im happy to just be in with a shout this year even through the play offs

It was an own goal at Daggenham, with the defender under pressure from Boden.
