Looking very unlikely, especially with our lack attacking prowess..... But what a golden opportunity we've almost certainly missed.....
The problems was there for all to see, early in the season, but it was never addressed ...

Agreed. I will try to ignore the empty "what are you smoking" comments. Priority must be top 3, but if we can do that then you'd like to think 1st will still be within reach with a couple of games to go.

Unlikely. Isn't Pearson also suspended for a couple of games now after his yellow card? That won't make the task any easier

Could do with securing playoffs before last game

In a word, NO! Today we played a mid table team, who, granted had scalped a few big teams recently. Apart from the first 20 minutes, we never looked comfortable. Maidstones confidence grew when they realised it was NOT going to be the siege of the Alamo! For a team with promotion ambitions, we are just not putting lesser teams to the sword. We could have scored more than one, but they missed a few likewise. When we achieved promotion in other seasons, we always looked like we could dismantle any opponents. I have only seen us play dynamically once this season - that’s not enough to be promoted.
The league looks good tonight. I am adamant that we will not finish in the top three, as we ain’t good enough. So, are we capable of winning threee consecutive away games to get through the play offs? A very tall order.

All the top 7 teams are difficult places to go so we need a top 3 finish to give ourselves a real chance. A positve is we now have strength in depth, no real weakness and have proved we are the hardest team to beat so we have as good a chance as anyone in one off games.

I can see Macc continuing to falter but cant see us getting more points than Tranmere and 5 more than Sutton so playoffs it is.

No. Now we have played more than 37 games it becomes 15 yellows for a 3 game ban.
