Our run in is...

Boreham Wood
Eastleigh
Ebbsfleet
Dagenham
Leyton orient
Flyde

Not being funny but given our current inability to win games and the fact Tranmenre have a game in hand can you honestly see us staying in third? It may come down to the last day against Flyde.

Total attendance at todays match 1,403.

All respect to the 299 Wrexham fans who having travelled all that way have to stand on an open terrace in the rain - nearly as many umbrella's there as there were fans.

Bad performance against ten men should have taken the game to them after Johnson was sent off. Credit to the fans who went as it was an awful day with no shelter. However stupid penalty to concede you cannot foul in the box and get away with it

If we drew all six games we would equal the record for the most games ever drawn in a season. Norwich, Exeter, Hartlepool and Cardiff City all share the record with 23 draws. I dont think that it is a particularly good record to hold and suggests a rather boring, dissapointing season.

Just back, bloody long drive in awful conditions, summary is:

Same old performance as most of the season, sitting too deep forwards are strangers no cohesivenesss between them, Jennings not good enough again despite the goal, deverdics and franks, thanks keates for your parting gifts but please take them with you.
In summary we are not good enough and I will be amazed if we make the play off final.

Feel biggest factor holding back side is that in Wedgbury, Kelly and Rutherford have regular starters who are very infrequent goalscorers. Currently all on or under 3 goals. All teams have 1 player you do not expect to score but having 3 is holding back the team. End result is when combined with the huge disappointment that is Boden, we cannot regain leads as has happened all season. Other than that the other mystery is still the late substitutions which makes you think that it was not Keates instigating it.
Simon Ainge surely needs to start on Monday as we simply need more goals. Argument too for including Wright instead of Kelly too given usually concede when Kelly plays in middle. Wright a better tackler and should have a point to prove having been out of the team so long. Deverdics himself has said he is a centre mid but for some reason that is not an option. Indeed does appear to be a feeling in fanbase that it's still the same but no Keates. You would have thought that Andy Davies would want to make some sort of mark himself but at the moment it's identical to Keates period. This is shown in the late substitutions and team selections and still sitting back immediately after taking the lead. Realise still unbeaten but need dramatic change in tactics and belief to beat likes of Tranmere, Aldershot and Fylde possibly. Can be done but feel at moment not utilising in best way players we have and clearly not scoring enough-which again goes back to Paragraph 1 and make up of team.
