The football has been dire all season, though we had been able to drag out a lot of draws, but have not been scoring goals all season
We brought in Boden to be our main forward, even if he had managed 10 goals (a pretty average) total, we would be comfortable in the play offs.

You look for you midfield to be in that 5-10 range and they haven't done this either.

I don't think so.

Keates leaving has had a much bigger impact than the board and most of us anticipated and the continuity plan has gone tits. They won't make a change now, i'd be amazed if Davies doesn't see out the season.
Isn't it partly to do with the fixtures getting more difficult and us getting found out? Davies played Mackreth today which worked and put us in the position to win the game.

I don't think us missing loads of chances is down to motivation or poor tactics. We go 2-0 up and we win this game (and many others in 2018) but the players didn't take the opportunity and we were also a bit unlucky.

If I remember rightly when AD was appointed, the board were still looking through the applications, so, they must have someone in mind, because they have had a lot of time to go through them.
Now is the time to stand up and be counted. Make your decision and stand by it.
This season has been so disappointing and before someone says why. To the people with red tinted glasses I do question whether you go to matches or listen to the radio, because what we are seeing now started from our first game of the season. If you would put your hands up and say I got it all wrong you would have my respect.

Hindsight also needs to look at recruitment, something I assume Davies had nothing to do with. Our big problem this season has been scoring goals. Most of the midfield/attacking players we have brought in had poor scoring records before they joined, why expect them to start scoring now.

Lack of quality is the main reason we are now struggling. DK leaving has just compounded the situation. I cannot fault the effort or commitment today and despite 2 sloppy goals it was probably the best game of football all season.

I have no expectancy now of reaching the play offs and will be glad when the final whistle blows at the Fylde game when we have hopefully then seen the last of the majority of this squad.

Hopefully (again) we wont be having a 'hindsight' moment if we start to think that Dunn, Kelly, Mackreth, Rutherford, Boden, Franks deserve another contract only to get more of the same.

Then what do we do about Derverdics, Carrington and Wright. None of them good enough to even get on the pitch today and with us again next season.

Hindsight is a great thing but what would be even better is we didn't bring in so much dross in the first place.
