He's as streaky as can be but playing someone out of position is rarely the answer. Jennings isn't so bad that he's worth paying off and there's going to be no squad to speak of so he'll play.

I've just been looking at Fylde squad for last season. I was looking to see whether they have had any news on Sam Finely yet. I'm hoping we are in for him as he is just the type of player we need

Anyway what was intresting from their team last season was they only had 16 contracted players, they also had 7 players on loan. I'm unsure whether them 7 came in during the season as players got injured or suspended, but with that model Fylde did a lot better than we did last season.

So having a squad of 18, which will include 2 season long loans, one of which could be Quigley, depending on what Blackpool want to do with him once they get back to pre season training, then I can't see the issue in the squad size. I'd expect Sam to bring in a few more loans along the way, whether they will be on months deal or 3 month deal.

If it works for other clubs in this league then I can't see why it can't work for us.

Good point and If Johnny Smith available to buy or loan I would put him on our left side.

That opinion if fair enough, but Fyfield clearly is not a better option at left back on account of him not being a left back. The same way carringon isn't.
