With no signings brought in yet id say its way too early to say what the odds should be. Couple of weeks time we should have a better idea.

How the hell can these betting organisations issue odds about teams that have only got half of their final player allocations finalised? It’s only the end of May. Are their thoughts based on club reputations or just posturing? Hard to take them seriously.

What would be hard to take seriously is bookies dishing out odds for the conference based on in depth analysis of playing squads!

Early odds are as you say little more than a guess which will change based on transfers and bets placed. A bookie will take a risk to be one of the first to offer a market to get more action. Their 127% overround or 21% expected profit on this market means I wouldn't worry about them losing money by being way off!!

I only have one bet a year - Wrexham to win promotion.

To ease my guilty feelings about gambling I give equal money to the likes of Prostate Cancer awareness and Water Aid.
Over the last ten years I've bought my own fcuking well.

Can we expect a novice to take us up first season? Lovely thought which I would love to see happen, but cant see it. Hes got some much expectation on his shoulders too.
