Keates at least had some knowledge of the league and already had half a season to prove himself, but yes i was shocked at giving Keates a 3 year deal and thought it was a terrible move. Hope I'm proved wrong again but highly doubt it!

These 3 year contracts are standard LMA contracts. They have agreed severance sums before they're signed. If he's sacked after 4 months ,we dont owe him 32 months for example.

If he is a success the likes of yourself will be slating the board for not giving him a longer contract.

I can see were everyone is coming from, but give the lad a chance. Players contracts, Hollidays, Agents, there's a lot to consider. Having said that, I thought we might of had one name on board by now.

We've signed two players, they were finished off on Thursday. I haven't a clue who, a tighter lid being kept on things since ricketts got leaked. Hopefully they'll announce them tomorrow and not leave us waiting!!

Why wouldn't they of just announced them Thursday if that was true
