Not at all tempted, it’s just a shame those in charge never have the desire to do well or we could actually one day go back to the football league. But it’s always going to be the budget option while the penny pincher rules the roost.

Well my budget is cut now I will be retired come August so I won't be funding half arsed kick arounds eg pre-season friendlies which are just for fitness against pub teams. Although Lex could be a 5 a side.

I generally look forward to these pre season friendlies - a chance to get back together and see the new players. In recent years I have seen most games home and away.

However, can't remember feeling so underwhelmed on numerous fronts at the current situation. Question I ask myself is can I really be bothered ? and will many others be going ?

It's tomorrow and so far we have a single signing from a relegated club, no assistant manager and what appears very limited backroom staff.

Either it's all got to come good with a number of quality signings very soon but before tomorrow unlikely or we we can look forward to a long difficult season.

Went last year but no inclination for this seasons game even if its going to be nice weather

you're right, transfer window doesn't close to the end of august.

Plus there is the world cup. Premier league squads won't be finalised until after this, so that means championship squads can't be finalised, therefore neither can league 1 etc
