Just watched the highlights. Summerfield is a different breed isn't he, could ping in balls all day and dangerous ones at that, with him and JMD on set pieces we're always capable of scoring. Lucky not to concede a second a few times but many times in that games where we could and should have killed the game off.

Looking very positive again, as Sam said in his post match interview still a lot of work to be done regarding killing games off and being in control of the games. Also read in the non league paper about Sam being very demanding of the lads but them giving their all in return, very good to hear.

No room for complacency here and its perform or get replaced IMO.
We have better options and players performing now so why all of a sudden does he need extra time compared to Beavon or Pyke.
Young will also keep him out of the squad when fit.

I wasn't referring to you with my comment on Deverdics Pagl and it wasn't aimed at anyone in particular, their just seems at times on here a need to keep putting certain players down, Carrington is one example, Rutherford, Lainton before the season had even kicked off, Pyke Beavon of course some will rate players some won't I get that I've done it myself but what annoys me is when a player is singled out it becomes non stop even if they have a good game. And no from what I seen of Deverdics last season I wasn't impressed but that was in a boring defensive minded hoof it team.. I'm prepared to give him a chance it's a new season,a new manager from what I've seen of Ricketts he plays players who deserve to play I'm sure if Deverdics doesn't perform or isn't good enough SR won't be fooled.

All I'm saying is don't judge a player on a few small substitute appearances Deverdics is probably a month behind the other players as regards match fitness isn't it Best to give him a not more time?

Yes things are going great at the mo and we're actually being entertained, but learn the lesson from last season when many had us winning the league in October don't build us up to soon because the coming down is bloody hard as we found out last season.

That's not saying don't enjoy being top of the league of course enjoy it but the cliché one game at a time is true.

Wise words, the 98 point team certainly set the bar for other Wrexham teams to aim for, and this team has certainly started in the right way, maintaining the consistency of that team will be the challenge. As you mentioned it’s a similar situation with Salford compared to Fleetwood. A summary of the 98 point team and how consistent it was throughout the season:

With the customary Wrexham implosion in the final few games! Interesting reading as that is what we need over the season. If we can do something like 8 2 0 in first 10 it may give us some leeway but not much to have a mini dip
