Personally I see no reason why he couldn’t come on the advice that you upgrade your ticket (few quid) to the Mold Road and sit in the family area (by the kop) the Eric Roberts is the rowdiest stand, it will be loud throughout and no doubt will have a great share of the drunker fans. The family end is fairly dosile and would reduce any risks or worries you have, stewards are quick to clamp down on any unwanted behaviour there.

You'll need something to occupy him when he get's bored of the game. Sweets and a toy are good. Be prepared to give him attention some of the time. My daughter first went to a match when she was 12 weeks old. We had tickets for Wales v Poland and got let down last minute by the babysitter. We put cotton wool in her ears and went prepared to leave if it wasn't going well. She went to sleep and Wales lost 1-2.

Take plenty of sweets and something to drink. And as others have said go in the mold road.

This.

Less populated area and a lot more tranquil.

You could, of course, miss the match and spend quality time with your son doing something he would enjoy.

Some good advice about going in the family section in the Moan Road stand it will be quiet in there unless we're losing then lots of moaning around, joking aside 18 months is a bit young imho to take him large noisy crowds can be quite frightening for a child that age, doesn’t he have a grand parent or uncle aunt who would have him for a couple of hours?

Or as been said give the game a miss and spend quality time with him, children comes before everything including football.

Wouldn't normally comment but that has to be the most patronising statement ever.
1. Why is going to a football match not quality time?
2. How do you know the little fella wont enjoy it?
3. Shouldn't you be encouraging new support?
4. May be only 18months old but these are the future of our club.
