It may be an opportunity for some fringe players to get minutes, but other than avoiding a possible injury, it doesn't always pay to play a weakened team. Last season we did that but did the form of the rested players improve or as a unit.

Mind you we are crap didn't you know.
Only kept a clean sheet in two thirds of our games,lost two and only sit 4th being well off the pace and having only drawn away at Harrogate we really do have no chance !! 😛
