Thanks for all your work, the YouTube highlights are great. I do find the commentary quiet against the background noise, but that's only a minor issue.

Not a complaint, merely feedback, which has been asked for.

When I view through You-tube on my Television screen (as opposed to i-pad or laptop) the commentary is barely audible and drowned out by the background and crowd noise etc.
Which is odd, given the fact that the crowd make very little noise these days.

No worries This is something I am trying to fix as I noticed it myself.

Most devices are single speaker and therefore produce a balanced commentary to crowd noise output as per the edit we produce.

TV's and suchlike have multiple speakers. On the TV's audio settings you can normally choose A, B or stereo. If you adjust these you'll find the right balance between speakers for the highlights. TV's adjust between consoles and sky boxes ect - but they don't for YouTube for some reason.

The camera we use records on two channels - a hand mic for the commentary on one and a crowd mic on the other - and that's what causes the TV issue.

Shouldn't be a difficult fix so it works universally and I'm hoping we get it sorted within the next few games so it works properly without adjustment on all devices.

I know we had a universally low mix on the Havant and Harrogate games - which was an editing issue.

As for a breakdown - it depends on what type of adverts are shown (there are 5 variants), how long the video is and how the user interacts with them.

Luckily, google cater our adverts to the user, so we have seen a better return this season.

Thanks for the reply, I assumed views are increasing a bit as I'm now getting ads in the middle of the videos. Which I suppose is a nuisance but can skip them but it brings more money in.

I wonder if any RP users have any suggestions on new things they would like to see? I enjoyed the crossbar challenge from the summer so perhaps some more relaxed player/staff interaction stuff?

Agreed with the more relaxed player/staff interactions. If possible, maybe try and do a weekly 21 questions-like series with the players and staff.

Nothing too hard hitting, things like team you supported growing up, favourite food, favourite passtime, favourite moment in your career so far etc. Something that makes the players seem a bit more personable and also makes enjoyable content for the channel. If nothing else it gets you a bit more of that ad revenue. As someone with experience on YouTube, if you want to make money off it, it's usually quantity over quality, although so far the media team has managed both which is no small feat. Well done to everyone involved.
