Where do rumours start? Yes by so called fans, rumours get out and people place bets at the bookies so narrowing the odds, I for one think Sam Ricketts strikes me as not the type to jump ship halfway through the season in his first job especially when top of the league.

If it does happen then their is something fundamentally wrong with this club, as been said other clubs don't lose their manager when top of the league, he will I'm sure want promotion on his cv before moving plus he has a 3 yr contract for a reason.

I don't think he will be tempted away any time soon, I believe he has more loyalty and integrity about him than previous managers we have had.
He has started something here and I believe he will want to see it through, at least until the end of the season.
The club board now have to prove themselves and show Sam that they are prepared to match his ambitions by freeing up a fair amount of cash (Ward money and unexpected windfall of FA Cup income) to allow Sam to make decent offers to any transfer targets he has identified for January.

I would be very surprised and extremely disappointed if Sam was to move on at this stage but it doesn't mean that it will not happen.
