ASAP = as soon as possible.

If it’s not possible to get their No 1 target for another week, that would be ASAP.

Most still don’t know who the new gaffer will be, but GB let slip he thought he would be announced before the Aldershot game.

We shall see.

I think Challs has got a 50% win rate as manager but its difficult to compare as clubs and situations differ. Barrows has a win rate circa 30% DL is of course untried with a win rate of (blank).
Do such stats mean anything?

In answer to your question stats are not meaningless but no guarantee that what works at one club will work at another.

Said like a politician and I agree. Brian Little arrived with a 40 /50 % win percentage and left 'The Town' having achieved 21%. No wonder he looked glum when he was here.

Turn the stats on their head for losses and we then have:

Lawrenrence 0% losses

Challinor 50% losses or draws

GB 70% losses or draws

Stats don’t necessarily predict!

So how does it work?..if Challinor has been interviewed? Does that mean we have agreed the compensation fee assuming we give him the job?
