Obviously didn't see game, but one very excited fan here.

I can feel a promotion in my waters!

January is important but remember we are essentially top with the squad we have...be careful what you wish for.


Many teams at the top seem to get new players in January and it can disrupt the team and they falter.


Does seem like we need an out and out striker tho'

When in front we managed the game despite all the "get rid" and "clear" from some of the faithful!

They can't score when we have the ball.

Indeed they can't score when we have the ball.

However, I felt we didn't have much possession especially the last 20 minutes when they started throwing the kitchen sink at us - for long periods we were intent on clearing the ball 'anywhere' and often straight back to them to set up another attack. For all the height in their team I thought we defended exceptionally well - in fairness to them they did try to exploit it but similar to Salford we seemed to be exceptional at getting a block in the way, although there were a couple of occasions where they escaped us and in reality should have done better with a shot just to the right side post and a header at the same post - both late second half.

We were top twice last season.
Additions are needed and GB will fit them in

Yeah. Get a striker or 2 and maybe an attacking midfielder and we should do it!

I don’t think we need much, one out and out striker that converted some of our draws in to wins and we would be home and dry already.
