Never seen Trundle break a sweat once......huffing and puffing is for midfielders!!
A team in our position can only afford to have one of the trilogy (Beav, Ruthers & Grant) in the team at any one time, for me, Beavon is the best of the three. Strikers are in a team to score goals, if they do this, they are hero’s & being otherwise lazy is part of their charm, if however you don’t score goals, then you really do have to work your backside off, this is fine if it allows your fellow strikers to score regularly, but that’s not the case with us.
If you put your striker in the right place at the right time, & your midfield get the ball to him where he wants it a number of times then he will score i.e. Boden at both Newport and Gateshead, both leave him in the middle, don’t ask him to track back, and huff and puff, just put the bloody thing away when it comes him and bingo!!
In other words our strikers and midfield are both pretty useless at the mo. and have been for a few years now.

Whats been missing for several years is pacy wide midfield players who can scare fullbacks and put crosses in from wide for our forwards to attack. Nearly every team that comes to the Racecourse has one and gets past our FB's

Jordan White is playing in Scotland and has only scored 6 according to Wiki. My missus could probably score that many at that level 😂
