The problem is (as you say) it is broke.

And people saying ‘get of your arse and do something’.... it’s pretty clear that the top table is well and truly cemented. They’ve created a hierarchy that is unlikely to change and fooled enough people that it’s the ONLY way.

And while I applaud anyone who volunteers their time (our greatest commodity) it doesn’t mean they’re exempt from criticism.

How are these roles/responsibilities reviewed? Who chooses KPI’s etc.?

Ageing fanbase? I suspect our fanbase is the youngest and most diverse it has been in a long, long while and I predict we’ll gain promotion within the next three years. Miracles dont happen overnight. The WST model didnt get us into this hellhole of a league and, in the absence of miracles and a little luck (eg Newport County at Wembley) I believe we have done bloody well.

Is it perfect? No. Have mistakes been made? Yes. Will mistakes continue to be made? Yes, whoever is the owner. However, i’ll leave my pitchfork and froth at home and contribute to helping us build a better club, a football league club.

Ive never met SH but if it winds you up more then yes, happy to be his love child.

Don't expect to see any of this scandal explained in the accounts as that will be a complete stitch up.

The waste in this club is criminal and the club board will be pleading poverty once they've wasted the Ward money.

The incompetence is truly astounding but some on here are more than happy for it to carry on.

What is the actual ‘scandal’ that you speak of?

And what is this waste? We’ve got two boards of dedicated people (that could do with talking with each other a bit more) working for free and supported by hundreds of volunteers leading various great initiatives.

If that’s the case, I can understand why the club board do not want to inform the WST board about Barrow wanting out and the next managerial appointment. Even though they obviously should.

The GDPR thing sounds bollocks to me too. What personal data is being processed exactly?!

This looks to be in line with my thoughts on the events. The club board believe that the leak came from the WST board and cost us appointing our number one target in Den. Understandable that they are annoyed and frustrated at that but the GDPR think is a load of rubbish and Directors should not be coming out with blatant lies in an open forum to club members who are in effect the shareholders of the company.
If they believe there is a leak on the Trust board then the correct chain of events is to raise it with the Trust board Chairman and allow him to investigate it and discipline if appropriate. I don't believe it is the club directors place to be deciding which of the elected representatives get to hear information.
