Re: SE19 Exile RIP
That's really sad news. He was one of my favourite posters on here. Great sense of humour, friendly, engaging, witty, intelligent and had plenty of food chat over the years, uploading pics of grub on here. He'll be missed on here by many I'm sure.
RIP mate |

Re: SE19 Exile RIP
I had to read this back about 5 times to check I'd read it correctly. I can't believe it, it's so unbelievably sad. I shared a pint with Neil at a couple of southern based away games and he was a genuine and funny bloke. Some of his storytelling on here was legendary and anyone who reads RP will have chuckled at a joke or story he told at some point. Of course it's so much worse for his family and friends and I can't imagine what they're going through right now. Sorry for the muddled words, I'm really stunned.
RIP mate, you will be missed and fondly remembered. x Posted via mobile theme |

Re: SE19 Exile RIP
I recruited Neil for the DSA on the very first night I sat with him for a pint in London.
He was a top bloke, always an ear for a chat and a shoulder to cry on and generous to a fault. We only found out he'd passed away this week and I believe a family member is now over in France to arrange to bring him back as he had emigrated there. Whenever he was back he helped out for the DSA, at the same time apologising for not doing more. More than anything though he was a great friend and I'm devastated to have lost him. |
