You’re right he’s exactly the sort we need, ruthless and driven at this level unfortunately these types need paying....

Let's be honest.....The Board, which Spencer seems to be the main man, acted very strange in January.. Almost as if they'd washed their hands of the managerial situation.....
It was obvious the team was misfiring... What did we do.?? Change the sparkplugs. ? No...We just put air in the tyres...And hoped for the best...

Of course I'm being sarcastic, don't forget the other team who are in the final Fylde will probably finish above us to.

I am reminding the experts who said we would have an advantage by throwing it away, no club with ambitions throws any competition.... ooooops forgot we are doing exactly the same as last season now waving the white flag of surrender.

Top and bottom of our problem is at the moment just like last season we have a manager who is well out of his depth, Hughes who's only experience before getting a job at a team in the promotion hunt was to not win a game at a club many leagues lower from which he was sacked.

I'm not blaming Hughes as such as it aint his fault he was left with some really poor players and not his fault he lacks experience, but he has enough around him in Flynn & Darlington why sign 3 strikers in Oswell, Stockton Spyrou and not play them? (i know he didn't sign the first 2)
Why keep chopping and changing the side experimenting with different formations with a few games to go? That's inexperience.

Ask any striker what he needs and it will be a run in the side with obviously good service....

We keep playing Beavon on his own when he has a poor record of goal scoring 3 managers non have learnt, Oswell is here for another season so play him with Spyrou alongside in the remaining games once they get a goal like all strikers they tend to go on a run as it's a confidence thing, putting them on the bench playing them for last 15 minutes is no good.

Also yesterday why keep the big useless Wright on? Why not bring Deverdics on for him we only used 2 subs.

We will never get anywhere if we change managers every 3 months. Hughes needs a chance next season whatever league are in. We would all have taken playoffs at the start of the season. Yes it's very disappointing to have another poor end to the season given we've been top but the players have largely over achieved. Most aren't good enough.

He’s a winner. Simple as that. We would have lost him in January if he’d been managing us. His board also backed him with signings to improve their team, while refusing offers for Bonne.
