Great news.

He will be fit enough I would think, but match sharpness may be an issue.
Even if he's come back with one leg he'll be an upgrade on the Rutherford and Wright deadly duo

Be amazed if Fondop is anywhere near the squad let alone the first team. I didnt want him frozen out in the first place mind.

Does anyone know why he was bombed?

I read something on here that he was constantly late for training because he had to get buses to training?

We didn't know at the time but our title hopes went the minute his injury happened.

We were top of the league at the time and were on a great run. After he went off we replaced him with anonymous Grant at Orient and the rest is history.

This news is a huge boost as the lad is quality and could be the catalyst for a real go at the PO's

I'd get Fondop back on Monday too !!!

He was living in Rhosytllen bus to king street and then a short walk to 9 acre.If he was constantly late would suggest more of an attitude problem especially as i dont think training starts before 10am

I don't know if that's true just what someone posted on here a while back.

Hopefully BH will at least get him on the bench, he's got goals in him even if he can be infuriating and his size alone offers us another option. We need all the help we can get now, what's done is done.

Imagine with a bit of luck and someone at the club engaging their brains in January we could have played out these last few months with a midfield of Summerfield, Walker and Young with Pyke, Tollitt and one of Beavon, Holroyd, Oswell up front.

All of a sudden the team looks a million times better.
No passenger's in midfield and pace, a bit of skill and some presence up front.

Would could have been...
All of this.

Anyway, fantastic news he is back.

Whether he'll play or not is a different matter but I agree with Dixienormous that we cannot start those three and expect them all to suddenly transform in different players.

I would absolutely play Fondop ahead of Rutherford and Holroyd, possibly Beavon too based on the fact he's toothless.
Beavon will forget more than Fondop will ever know about football.
