He's not good enough for us, because he has proved over the past two years he's not good enough for us. Whether he got promotion previously or won the champions league is irrelevant. He ain't good enough now.

there is no rush as the transfer window doesn't close until september...

I liked Quigley when he was here. But three years for a largely untested player who had a patchy injury record seems like madness.

Best players always become available at the end of August apparently. Also at the end of the January transfer window - it’s like fishing for sardines.

He does have a bit of an injury problem but he knew where the net was when he was here.

I'd say there's a decent chance he comes good for Barrow, especially if they play the sort of football they were playing last year. Plus the advantage for playing for Barrow is you don't have to play against the sh*tkickers Barrow usually has in defence twice a season.

One good thing though should stop all the Scott Quigley rumours he's coming here or he can score us 15 / 20 goals , now just another 30 ex players to sign for someone else and we can forget they're coming here , yippee .

Agree. Due to his chronic thigh injury he was a risk not worth taking.

On a separate note, where are Barrow getting their finances from?

And will they therefore be a bigger threat next season?

PS Whilst Barrow is certainly not paradise, the southern Lake District is a very nice place to live.
