Its still 11 vs 11 and the right combination is so so important.
You cant have 11 Pearsons or 11 Rooneys and then its 3 subs.
Signing 30 players makes the pool bigger but in reality a quality 22 is just so much better IMO.

As for exciting attacking football? I honestly cant think of one team that's genuinely excited me in this league for a long time. Mills' Gateshead? I'd honestly be amazed if you could point to a team in our league this year who have played an exciting brand of football. And while we're missing a little going forward, we've got a lot at the back which at this level has led us to two fairly decent seasons.

I honestly believe peoples expectations on the football side are being contorted by the amount of top level football on offer on the tv.

My views are not contorted by top level as you call it football on TV as I don't watch it, I've no interest in over paid Foreign players playing for foreign owned managed clubs. Infact I'm sick already of out the closet Liverpool fans everywhere and they wonder why they are hated when 70% have never been to a game and that applies to all the top bandwagon clubs.

I don't think expecting us to try to entertain the fans is not realistic obviously you like boring hoofball.
