Holroyd has played in non league for longer, is a year younger. is there much difference between a 1 in 4 and a 1 in 5 striker??

I’m getting pretty buoyed up by the signings so far tbh.
Most signings are a risk at our level - it’s all about how they click together of course- but I’m more excited than I was at the start of last season for sure. Attacking players with pace... whatever next? 👍

It's not just about goals though is it? Are you saying he should of kept Holroyd?

For all we know Holroyd may have said he wanted to go and that's why not offered another contract. He wasn't a regular last season.

I can see the sense in bringing Dagnall in, we haven't got a lot of league experience amongst the forwards atm. An older head might be useful.

I would like a pure defensive midfielder, I don’t feel any of our current midfielders are switched on enough defensively.

Also a proper old school winger wouldn’t go amiss. We’re not a million miles off but unless the mindset drastically changes I can see us struggling to score goals again. This mindset of keeping it tight and trying to nick games off a set piece has got to stop.
