The new rule being pushed for by some on here is that if you aren't happy with some aspect(s) of the club you cannot just express that on here anymore. Oh no. What you have to do these days, according to these model fans, is you now have to take action, get yourself elected or appointed to the appropriate position within the club and sort it out yourself, this also means sorting out any mess left behind too.

Now, to act upon or induce change you'll need to become the new Wrexham AFC manager. So all you have to do is do all the relevant coaching badges, get Bryn sacked, apply for the job and get it.
Then you can sit down with Mr Summerfield and explain he needs to find another club as a matter of urgency.

Can I ask a favour too please while you are in that frame of mind of releasing players, sit down with Akil and Ruthers and do the honours with them too? That would be bang tidy.
Quite enjoyed that!

Indifferent really. Losing Walker and Summers when we did cost us so now replacing Walker is vital. With Redmonde on board it leaves 1 space and perm Young, Summers, Rutherford, Wright and Sargent. I can see a shake up in Jan with this midfield squad. Improvements on creativity and goals obviously required so lets see.

As I keep saying the DM recruitment is now key for midfield and we might just win that 1 extra game we needed

Made 37 appearances last season , which was more than most of the squad.

Dear me! We might as well put a cardboard cut out on the edge of the D to watch the game pass by. The only thing akil wright should be doing is looking for a new team.

“The lad” is clearly out of his depth. I’m astounded as to why anybody would think otherwise.

As for your question.... no I’m not Pele. I’m not paid to play football either. I’m well educated however, and have a broad knowledge of football.

I think anyone that has watched him would know he cannot play the holding role. This is based on his positioning, ball control and passing.

Defensive by its name means being goal side of his player and he isnt.
The role requires a decent ball retention and that needs ball control - Wrights isnt good enough and you can see how many times in a game where he just loses the ball completely when a simple touch is needed.
Passing is probably the worst of his attributes but if he loses the ball so much then he doesnt have it to pass it. It would be a disaster to give him the role IMO.

Strong and powerful and I think more suited to pushing forward and without any responsibilities to track back, can we afford this luxury at this level?

He isnt by any means a bad player he just has odd glimpses during a game and should have pushed on after his player of the month.

Thats my broad opinion

Barrow showed -
1.He cannot play in a midfield 2.
2.Not a DM option.

Personally think more effective as a wildcard sub for last 20 minutes.Desperately needs coaching on his passing/ball retention as should be better by now.
