I prefer to judge a player from what I see when I watch them live. I’ve seen him
Home and away and he’s a brilliant striker and one of the best at leading the line. In my opinion, what he doesn’t do is run round and track back like a Beavon type.

Fingers crossed.
Exactly. He knows his job and is brilliant at it. Also puts defenders under a lot of pressure. Just that I’ve never seen him chasing back and I don’t think Hooper should either.

Good on paper, hopefully we get the Bromley version of Hooper. If we do, we're inching ever closer to a potential promotion winning squad for me. As mention, we need a holding midfielder and a right back and probably a winger and we should be good.

Looking forward to getting my first taste of Hooper, Redmond and McIntosh in a Wrexham at Cefn next week. Definitely going to make a point of going.

Listen if he gets 17 next season I'll be delighted. I'm just curious where the 19 in 25 figure has come from.

Cynical me tells me it's more spin but I'm delighted with the signing

It is and it isn't. He got 14 in 22 in the league for Bromley. The other 5 came in the Kent Senior Cup, which a lot of sites don't track. He got 5 goals in 3 games in that competition - which included a hat-trick against Charlton's U23 side and a double against Maidstone.

So, yes, 19 in 25 is correct if you count that competition.

Hmmmm. Scraping the barrel imo. Gonna start counting reserve games? Haha. But 14 in 22 is good enough for me

Haha I'm laughing at you now with your judgemental bollocks. To much sun in Cyprus... I'm not being miserable I'm very pleased with the signing... But you cannot deny what I said is true, a lot of fans on here put running around a lot contributing little above talent.

Robbie Evans, Rutherford, 2 examples... Yes of course we don't want a player to be lazy, hence for my quote on Stockton on here as he was lazy.

Vose our last player with talent who scored goals was condemned for not running backwards enough.

So sorry if honesty is seen as being miserable to you... But I can assure you I'm far from miserable this is an Internet forum where fans can express their views, not a place for weak easily led fools.

Was Vose condemned? I thought he was sold to a team in the football league.

To be fair to Beavon that's what he did, unfortunately he was always upfront on his own no striker/poacher feeding off him.
