The high balls into the box from free kicks, crosses and corners is one of the most frustrating aspects of watching Wrexham.

Whip them in with pace so even if it gets a slight deflection off a defender there's still a chance it'll go in. Floating the ball into the box means the attacker has to physically direct the ball towards the goal.

Pretty much this. From free kicks to the side of the area, i'd like to see one or two whipped in chest height with pace.

Especially if its right between keeper and defenders.

Would cause more panic IMO. Of course, you would still need our players to attack the ball!

It appears Blackpool have started offloading some of their summer buys on loan. Devitt will be signing for Bradford later today so hopefully some movement with either Yussuf or Tollitt too.

This is my hope too and who knows what other players may suddenly become available. A lot of our rivals will have spent the budget so good business in my view holding a bit back for 1-2 more quality additions.

Anyone got Ricketts' number at Shrews? JOKING OF COURSE!
Wouldn't take a thousand pound from that Judas!!!!
what are you smoking?

6 games in...
hooper has scored 3
harris has scored 3
grant has scored 2

basing that on 45 games for the season that excluding cup games.. that would average at about 15-20 goals each for hooper and harris each... an a little less for Grant over the course of the season.

add into that other players will chip in like Pearson an young/summerfield ,, and now tollit and others odd goal here n there

i think our attacking options are reasonably good and for me not something im not concerned about.. most of the teams above us on the league will drop down the table once teams start hitting full form .. woking , halifax , bromley , maidenhead , will drop down.

i still think we have a couple of more gears we can go up yet.. and if we can do so and be consistant im hopefull for a good season ahead for us where we may challenge for the title and not just be around bottom end of play offs.

too mant fans seem to be expecting too muych too soon from my perspective.

This,

Why the f**k do we loft crosses into the box whenever we do get the ball out wide? Drive it in low and fast across the 6 yard line and anything could happen. Defenders hate that type of ball being played in as they don't know whether to stick a leg out or not.

Haven't our players or "coaching staff" heard of the corridor of uncertainty?

It's the same with shooting from distance, keep the ball down FFS!

But what does Darlington know about attacking? You could probably write it down on the back of a postage stamp.

Of course, I didn't mean every time. Mix it up as you say but at least give it a go.
