if you mean that i think many fans over react and go into unwarrented drama mode..then yes. i think many over react and get overly angry abusive towards people who want the same thing as us... and that is too do whats best for our club. they want the same thing... success

you are very vocal on here advocating how terrible the club is run.. i presume you could do a better job? how come you dont give it a go and put your name down? as im presuming you wouldnt make any mistakes or judgement calls that dont go wrong .

as so many on here post in such angst at error.. as if they are perfect and wouldnt and never have made mistakes..

that is not Blaming the fans... thats me saying lots over react and make stories up out the blue... or come out with some crap that they have an anonymous source that they cant speak of.... just to cover their own backs or make it seem more plausible their crap is true

You raise many fair points, especially that we all make mistakes.

I don't care for all the politics about whether the Board run it as their personnel fiefdom, regardless of what the fans want.

When Barry Horne and Don Bircham left the Board we failed to replace them. The fiasco post Ricketts caused unintended consequences that are still raising their ugly head. Whilst I am willing to give the Board the benefit of doubt regards their motives, their decision-making has been poor and badly communicated.

It seems sensible to me that they have appointed Flynn in temporary charge for the next 2 games, albeit I would have made a clean break and given it to Carrington for these next 5 days. All he needs to do is pick a team, motivate the players, and gee them up.

Ultimately, is the WST fan-owned model working? Certainly not on the pitch.

Do fans over-react? Of course we do. Personally, I initially said give Hughes until the end of September, but then changed my mind when I saw the players refuse to give 100% against Sutton Utd until the final few minutes, when we managed to retrieve a point.

Do we need better leadership and clearer communication from the Board and WST? You bet we do. They have an opportunity to declare mea culpa where appropriate, but also to explain when things conspired against them, and the Law of Sod raised its ugly head.

Regardless of what we think individually, are we any closer to promotion back into the FL? I would say no; hence why evolution is required before revolution destroys the good bits!

85% of fans do not trust the board to make a good appointment. the facts speak for themselves.
I am terrified, a bad appointment now could send us to Regional football

Like it or lump it, DK is the best current option given the circumstances. I am no fan of his but he did not leave this club in the lurch. He merely seized onto a career opportunity which coincided with his own personal ambition to manage his boyhood club. I would give him the job on an interim basis until the end of this season only, without any gushing statement this time from Peter Jones - or Spencer Harris.

Sorry PD, not replacing Bircham or Horne wasn't a failure, it was a success as those currently on the board decided not to replace, they felt they could do it alone. Then later we hear rumours about them not having time to recruit a manager properly.
