Here’s a strange situation. My son went onto the club website to buy a Yale stand ticket for his mate for the next home game. To his surprise, all the non season ticket seats bordering the Directors Box were unobtainable. If we were flying high in the league, it would be understandable that demand would be high (and the seats sold for that game).
So, why are these seats, apparently not to be sold? Have we got it all wrong, or are the club re empting a response from the fans, should results go from bad to worse? The said seats are all rather close to the Directors Box which will obviously hold Trust board members etc. I saw at the last home game, they employed two suited heavies to “encourage” the flask and sheep skin coat brigade to stay their side of the divide. Just what are the club expecting to happen?

I take your point, but do the board see beheading as a serious risk? Hopefully not. What folks say they will do on social media sites, is totally different to reality.

I don't support the board and think we need change but the concern someone will have a go at them seems valid to me. Prob a sensible precaution.

Beheading as a serious risk? Come on, we all know it’s more the anger amongst the supporter base that these sorts of mindless social media posts generate. Here’s hoping the anger doesn’t lead to physical violence against anyone.

It makes sense to take precautions. I am not a fan of the Board but some of those behind the abuse have form, and a lot of what Spencer Harris is receiving is way over the top and totally unacceptable.
